Made it, Ma! Top of the world!
It’s a friendship story about Gillian and me with Links of London.
The Christmas last year was a tough period of time for my family as my grandpa passed away just a few months before. Since grandma plunged into an involved melancholy after that, I decided to buy her a special Christmas gift to cheer her up. My grandma is a woman who loves beauty so much that I had been determined to prepare an ornament for her. However, I could not make up my mind which one to buy in front of many ornaments. Beautiful ones were too expensive to buy, and the ones I could accept in my heart were not beautiful. Hence I wrote such troubles into my blog. Before long I received many messages. one of which attracted me, that was Gillian’s. She told me that her grandfather died not long ago and she decided to buy her grandmother a jewel too after reading my blog.
Upon that we talk over what kind of jewelry to buy on the net everyday. We found that we are in great common. For example: we both like country music while not rock, we are fond of tomato while hate mint. Besides selecting jewelry, we also told each other the thing happened in our life, both happy and sad. In our joint efforts, we finally found the right jewelry. I bought a necklace at links of London, and she bought one from CHARM.
Soon comes the Christmas this year and Gillian and I have met each other for a year. in this year, we have already became good friends. We have decided to meet before Christmas, and I also have prepared a pair of earrings of Links of London as a Christmas gift. This will be a unforgetaful Christmas.
