The Golden Rule is that there are no golden rules.
This is a story about the friendship of Gillian, I and Links of London.
The last Christmas Day was a bad one because my grandfather had passed away before Christmas Day. My grandmother was in low spirits after that, so I decided to buy a special Christmas present to make her happy. My grandma is a woman who loves being beautiful, therefore I decided to buy her a piece of jewelry. However, I was quite uncertain for a moment in the face of a great variety of jewelry. Some of them are quite expensive while the one I can afford are usually not that good. As a result, I wrote my concerns in my blog. Before long, I received a lot of comments. Among all the posted comments, one caught my attention, and that was Gillian's. She told me that her grandfather had also passed away not long before and having read my blog, she decided to buy an ornament for her grandmother, too.
Since then, we had discussed which ornament to buy on the internet every day. Gradually, we found out that we had a lot in common. For example, both of us were super fans of country music and hated rock-and-roll. We both preferred tomatoes and hated corn mint. We told each other the happiness and sadness. Also, we selected jewelries for our grandmother. After great effort we made for month, we finally decide to buy jewelries of Links of London. Then I bought Links of London necklace while Gillian bought a piece of beautiful Links of London Charm.
It’s near this year’s Christmas, and it’s been a year since Jillian and I met each other. We have become good friends since then. We have decided to meet each other before Christmas, and I have also prepared a pair of Links of London earrings as a Christmas gift for her. This Christmas Day must be very unforgettable.
